The Sea
I am not the sea
The sea, is not me
When I sail on the sea
The sea, watches over me
The sea, and me are one
Until my sailing is done
The sea, returns me home
And I drink to the foam
The sea, haunts my dreams
In my dreams, I hear the screams
Countless lives, who went before me
Countless lives, who gave all, to the sea
Sometimes, there is no wind
Sometimes, the sea wins
I pray for calm, and steady seas
I pray for those, who follow me
You do not know me, but I, am your friend
I hope this poem, gives you a helping hand
Trust in the sea, trust in me
Trust your first mate and you will see
All the treasures beyond the Horizon
All the treasure you can imagine
The sea gives and takes life
The sea is sometimes your wife
Me and the sea were meant to be
One day the sea will leave me be
Until that day, I belong to the sea
But forever, the sea watches over me
